ENFit syringes
I am very pleased to announce the publication of this position statement produced by the Neonatal and Paediatric Pharmacist Group (NPPG) regarding the use of ENFit syringes. This supersedes the advice on ENFit contained within an NPPG Newsletter published back in 2016.
This updated position statement has a particular focus on how to minimise the risk of accidental overdose, which can potentially occur due to the dead space in the tip of ENFit syringes. The position statement also gives advice on supply of ENFit equipment for patients being discharged from hospital.
