Since graduating from Nottingham in 2002, Andrew has not moved far!  A pre-registration year with Boots was followed by two years of residency at the  Queen’s Medical Centre.  Since 2005 he have been working in paediatrics in Nottingham, gaining experience in a variety of specialties.  Nowadays he works mainly in the PICU environment, and is particularly interested in fluids, renal replacement therapy and IV medicine administration..

Andrew also works part-time for the University of Nottingham Medical School teaching and assessing safe prescribing skills and therapeutics, particularly in relation to paediatrics.

Andrew was elected onto the NPPG Committee in late 2014, and joined the Membership subgroup at that time.  Since then, he has been supporting the set-up of local NPPG networks to provide members with better opportunities for learning and support closer to home.
