Emma studied pharmacy at the University of Bath prior to completing her pre-registration training at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge in 2016. After qualifying, she became a resident pharmacist at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, providing 24hr service cover across all specialities. In 2018, following rotations in transplant, colorectal surgery, neurosurgery and parenteral nutrition, she chose to specialise in paediatric and neonatal pharmacy. Emma completed her independent prescribing in 2020 and become the Lead Pharmacist for paediatric and neonatal gastroenterology.
Emma’s primary focus is now across the neonatal intensive care unit and the paediatric gastroenterology teams at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
Emma joined the NPPG Committee in 2021 having set up the paediatric and neonatal gastroenterology (PANG) special interest group to encourage knowledge sharing and peer support.
