Penny North Lewis has been a member of NPPG for aeons, since getting involved with other London paediatric pharmacists and realising the value of having wider collaboration and information sharing. She has taught regularly on many aspects of liver disease in children at conferences, the first being in Dublin in 1998.

It was an interest in conference and helping to organise the Harrogate event in 2006 that led to Penny joining the committee and becoming the conference subcommittee lead.  In 2012 she became vice chair and then in 2014 Chair of NPPG.  She did some work developing links with corporate partners to form mutually beneficial associations in line with our charitable aims.  Latterly she has been back as conference organising lead – a challenge, but a rewarding one.
