Nicola Husain

Nicola is a paediatric pharmacist with experience in a range of clinical specialties including neurology, metabolics, cardiology, respiratory, haematology, surgery and intensive care.  For the past nine years Nicola’s role has been split between the Evelina London Children’s Hospital and King’s College London, where she is a Clinical Senior Lecturer and the Programme Director for postgraduate pharmacy practice. 

 

Nicola’s primary role within the Evelina pharmacy team is to lead on education and training initiatives but she remains clinically focussed and regularly prescribes for the paediatric acute pain team.  Nicola leads the Paediatric Pharmaceutical Care International Internship Programme and Masterclass, initiatives that are delivered collaboratively by King’s College London, Evelina London Children’s Hospital and King’s College Hospital. 

 

Nicola has a passion for global child health.  She has previously worked for an NGO in India supporting children with disabilities and has volunteered with CHIVA Africa, a charity that supports children with HIV.
